LANE4 Property Group and Copaken Brooks are pleased to announce they have created a unique leasing alliance between the two Kansas City-based commercial real estate firms. This alliance allows both firms to offer a broader, deeper array of services to their clients.

Both firms will continue to separately offer a full line of real estate services such as development, leasing, and property management. This leasing alliance allows Copaken Brooks and LANE4 to assist each other in each firms’ current area of specialization, with Copaken Brooks playing a lead role in office leasing and LANE4 in retail leasing.  The alliance allows each group to provide their clients and customers with the highest possible level of impact, expertise, and dedication. The alliance also creates opportunities for the firms to pursue mixed-use projects together.

While Copaken Brooks has a long history and strength in retail development, management, and leasing, it is currently most active in office and mixed-use property.  LANE4 has built a leading retail leasing and tenant representation platform, and is currently involved with a variety of retail and mixed-use properties.  Because both companies have focused on different aspects of leasing but are involved with several mixed-use projects, the alliance was a natural fit for both firms.

“We determined that a leasing alliance between our two firms would allow us to maximize value to our retail property owners and further strengthen our position when competing for and developing mixed-use projects,” said Copaken Brooks Principal, Jon Copaken. “We are able to better leverage our retail history and current mixed-use presence through this special relationship.”
