KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kenco Logistics Services LLC, a warehouse and distribution center operator based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, will occupy 295,000 SF of Liberty Logistics Center in Liberty, Missouri. As the 710,00 SF industrial development nears completion by year end 2020, Kenco Logistics, the nation's largest women-owned third-party logistics company will lease just under half of the $70 million project.
"While Liberty Logistics Park is still under construction, we believe our community values, location, and 'can do' attitude are the differentiators that attract new businesses like Kenco Logistics to Liberty," Lyndell Brenton, Liberty Mayor said.
In the last five years the Kansas City Metro has seen e-commerce and distribution companies invest $1.8 billion, occupy 16.7 million square feet, and create more than 10,200 jobs; Kenco Logistics' new operation becomes the latest supply-chain success for the region.
