Kansas City, Mo – This spring, over 150 giant heart sculptures have been placed throughout various landmark locations across Kansas City. Two of LANE4’s properties– The Village Office Center and Red Bridge Shopping Center — have been chosen as destinations for this public arts experience.
This symbolic campaign aims to provide unification within the Kansas City community, specifically targeting local businesses, artists, and groups facing hardships from the pandemic. With 123 local artists chosen to design a heart, each 5-foot by 5-foot sculpture has its own inspirational story.
The heart sculptures will be on display for the public to admire until May, then will go to auction with all benefits remaining within the Kansas City nonprofit community. To continue the support, The Parade of Hearts has partnered with some of Kansas City’s biggest merchandise companies; a portion of every purchase will benefit those affected by the hardships of the last two years.
