Driven by a long-term vision to rehabilitate cultural arts in Downtown Lee’s Summit, LANE4 was selected as the Master Developer for the City of Lee’s Summit Downtown Market Plaza project. In partnership with the City of Lee’s Summit and Biederman Redevelopment Ventures, the project encapsulates the growth and revitalization Downtown Lee’s Summit has sustained, and will further ignite a vision to create a community-centric public gathering place for years to come.
Conceptual plans include a unique public amenity component including a permanent four-season farmer’s market pavilion, event space for the programming of public and civic events, outdoor performance area, and streetscape pavilion. The private uses are proposed to include a boutique hotel, a variety of restaurants and retail shops, and an urban multifamily community.
Site work is expected to begin in late 2023 with anticipation of a Spring 2025 opening for the farmer’s market pavilion.
