Green Street

Driven by a long-term vision to rehabilitate cultural arts in Downtown Lee’s Summit, LANE4 was selected as the Master Developer for the City of Lee’s Summit ambitious Green Street project. In partnership with the City of Lee’s Summit, the project encapsulates the remarkable growth and revitalization Downtown Lee’s Summit has sustained, and will further ignite a vision to create a community-centric public gathering place for decades to come. 

A community and cultural arts driven project 

The public phases of the project are underway and are centered around a permanent farmers market and event space, outdoor performance area, and streetscaped pavilion. These unique amenities will serve as a hub for local commerce and provide venues for private events and community celebrations. Creative architectural features integrated throughout the project and include wickets for the public to walk under and a functional and aesthetic overhanging canopy. 

Additional private uses are proposed to include a boutique hotel, restaurants and retail shops, and an urban multifamily community. 

Site work began in late 2023; the public phase of the project is expecting a Spring 2025 opening.
