Located just north of The University of Kansas Health System campus, at 34th St and Rainbow Blvd, Rainbow Village is just a few short blocks from LANE4’s sister hotel project, 39Rainbow. After the success of 39Rainbow, we recognized the need for additional hospitality options nearby. Formerly a blighted retail and office center, Rainbow Village was a prime target for the project. A portion of the existing center was demolished to make room for a new Home2Suites Extended Stay Hotel by Hilton, while the long-standing Applebee’s restaurant was remodeled and remains on-site.
