The stadium’s capacity is 18,467 seats, with expansion to 25,000 for concerts. The world-class stadium opened during the 2011 season as Livestrong Sporting Park, then transitioned to Children’s Mercy Park in 2015. The design features a dramatic European style canopy, covering all seats, and enhanced design elements for optimal fan experience.

LANE4 Property Group served as Project Manager providing site selection, property acquisition, entitlements, and incentive procurement services. Additionally, the development included a 660,000 SF office campus for Cerner Corporation. Together, the project was heralded as the largest job creation package in the history of Kansas. Since opening, the stadium has won several national and international awards.
