The Hudson is located adjacent to the University of Kansas Health System campus on the southwest corner of Rainbow Boulevard and 36th Avenue. The distinct lack of Class A apartment product in the Rosedale area of Kansas City, KS spurred this project, a joint venture with distinguished multifamily developer Hunt Midwest. Since 2012 LANE4 has completed several projects in the neighborhood, including two hotel projects, new retail and medical spaces in a mixed-use building, and the renovation of several older apartment communities.
The project is designed to pay homage to the area’s local history as well as its dynamic and energetic present. Before being renamed in 1919, Rainbow Boulevard was known as Hudson Road.
