Kansas City, Mo – Made in KC recently announced it’s opening its 11th retail location in Red Bridge Shopping Center. The Kansas City favorite, a premier destination for local goods, gifts, and apparel will occupy roughly 1,000-square-feet with hopes to open by September 2022.

Since 2015, Made in KC has been dedicated to promoting the makers and does that make Kansas City so special. Beginning as a 300-square-foot pop-up shop in Prairiefire, the local concept has now grown to work with hundreds of local creators. Made in KC, a 2022 Champions of Business honoree, now has 35 full-time-equivalent and 150 total employees.

LANE4 Vice President Brandon Buckley said in the release that Made in KC is a “perfect fit” for Red Bridge, where about 80% of tenants are locally owned businesses. This center is owned and managed by LANE4, who began a massive redevelopment in 2016 to transform the once neglected neighborhood center.
