
A Massachusetts-based retailer is preparing to make its debut in a new Johnson County city. T.J. Maxx will officially debut in Gardner soon, opening its new store on Nov. 9.
Tom O'Leary and Chase Glaeser of LANE4 Property Group represented the landlord in this transaction.
T.J. Maxx is opening at 832 E Main St.
- The store is opening in a space at the Moonlight Plaza shopping center, just off Main Street and Moonlight Road in Gardner.
- There, it will operate near Walgreens, Dollar Tree and HTeaO.
- Once it opens, T.J. Maxx’s regular hours in Gardner will be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
T.J. Maxx offers discounted apparel for women, men and children
- T.J. Maxx’s inventory includes apparel from a wide range of designers and brands.
- Its stores offer items like dresses, coats, belts and hats.
- “We’re thrilled to join the Gardner community,” said Nancy Carpenter, President of T.J. Maxx, via a release. “We look forward to providing local shoppers with an ever-changing selection of high-quality merchandise at exceptional value so they can express their true ‘maxx’ selves.”
This marks the third T.J. Maxx in Johnson County
- The new store also marks the first in Gardner for the Massachusetts-based company.
- T.J. Maxx already has two Johnson County stores: one at the Orchard Corners shopping center in Lenexa, and another at the Bluhawk shopping center in southern Overland Park.
- Outdoor retailer Sierra, under the same ownership at T.J. Maxx, also has two stores at those two shopping centers.
