As a retail specialist with a background in law, Weston focuses on leasing, tenant representation, sales, and acquisitions. After assisting in the formation of LANE4 Property Group in 2006, he left to attend law school at DePaul University in Chicago. Upon graduation, he joined The Katz Law Firm in Overland Park, KS, where he practiced as an attorney specializing in commercial real estate finance, acquisitions, disposition, foreclosure, and leasing. He made the transition to the brokerage and development side of the commercial real estate business when he re-joined LANE4 in 2015.
As a Vice President at LANE4, Weston markets some of the area’s most prominent shopping destinations, including 95Metcalf, Merriam Town Center, Independence Commons, and Twin Creeks Shopping Center. Focusing equally on tenant representation, he has developed market expansion strategies and helped to secure sites for such retailers as Blaze Pizza, Hurts Donut Company, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Prime Sleep, SVS Vision, and Tiger-Rock Martial Arts.
